Throwing a question out there to y'all!
I have been told different info from different docs about light chain levels prior to a stem cell transplant. One told me my light chains needed to be below 100, another under 25, another just said as low as possible.
My levels are way above this and they're talking of doing SCT soon. Does this mean I'm running out of time? Chemo didn't work great for me. In fact my KLC are higher now than last year.
Any experience out there?

The better your numbers are prior to transplant, the better the outcome. The treatment prior to stem cell transplant is to get you as close to normal as possible.
Like you, my light chains were still high going into stem cell transplant, and did not improve post transplant, but have remained stable for the past year.
