Re: Kyprolis causing severe face and neck swelling
Ever since my first Kyprolis infusions (March 2013), I have had swelling around my left eye and cheek. At first it looked like I had a cold, and I did have respiratory symptoms which gradually went away. After 20 months on Kyprolis (17 in maintenance), my eye is red and bothered looking most of the time, and the swelling is less, but present intermittently.
My multiple myeloma doc and eye doc are aware of the situation, but with Kyprolis working so well, no one wants to stop it due to this eye and swelling issue. I also have slight swelling and redness around my neck. These responses flare up post infusions, which I now have every 6 weeks, but are also present at other times.

Re: Kyprolis causing severe face and neck swelling
Hi Barbarah,
I have had numbness in my face. It seems similar to neuropathy. It doesn't hurt but
feels strange. It's especially numb around the mouth and upper lip area.

I have been on Kyprolis for 8 months and now going into maintenance. I have numbness (like neuropathy) in my lips and sinus area off and on.
