Kyprolis plus dex for multiple myeloma - any experiences?

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and so glad I found such an informative website.

Does any of you here are having or had Kyprolis (carfilzomib) + dexamethasone? My mother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (lambda free light chain) one year ago.

She had a severe allergic reaction from Revlimid and nerve pain from Velcade, so both treatments had to stop during mid-cycle.

She just finished her first cycle of Kyprolis plus dex and she is coping very well with no side effects, but we haven't seen a big drop in her light chain.

I live in Singapore and there is very limited information available. Appreciate if any of you could share your experience with Kyprolis.

You might find the advanced search feature at the top of the forum page to be helpful.

You can try searching on "kyprolis experience" or "carfilzomib experience" (make sure to search within "Post Subjects and Message Text"). You will get hits like this:
