Krypolis and bone pain

by Joycesimo77 on Sat Aug 03, 2013 5:44 pm

I have restarted krypolis and have completed 2 cycles. I am experiencing bone pain and general aches and pain. Has anyone on krypolis had bone pain during treatment?

I was on Krypolis, Revlimid, and Dexamethasone for two years as part of clinical study. During that time, I had muscle cramps primarily in my calves, plus bone pain and aches in my hips, ribs, and shoulders - the rib cage was probably the worst and would make movement difficult at times. I stretched daily to combat the aches, which helped, as did making sure I drank plenty of fluids (at least 96 oz per day). I completed treatment this past March and the aches actually got worse, particularly in my ribs and joints, which I think was due to a combination of the residual build up of drugs in my system and no longer taking the dexamethasone to offset them. It's been five months since I completed treatment, and I've continued to do a lot of stretching and exercising and the aches are gradually going away. I've also been taking curcumin, which is supposed to help alleviate joint stiffness and aches. Hopefully you can find ways to alleviate your discomfort.
