My mom's creatinine improved to almost normal from a value of "3" in two weeks on VRD [Velcade, Revlimid, dexamethasone] treatment.
Is this good news or too soon to tell? Thanks.

That is definitely good news. Her kidneys are filtering normally now as the amount of protein in her blood is reduced due to the treatments.

Glad to hear you are both improving. I was started on treatment solely because my Creatinine started to rise from 1.0 to 2.2 over a 4 month period. I have been treated with three rounds of 4 weeks on 1 week off (Velcade-Cytoxan-Dex). My Creatinine has stabilized at 1.7-1.9, but has not gone lower. I am not sure if more rounds of chemo will lower it further or if the treatment has kept it from going higher. As you can see I am on Cytoxan instead of Revlimid.
