Keytruda, Pomalyst, and dexamethasone

It appears that the Kyprolis, Revlimid, and dexa­metha­sone is no longer working. About two months ago they found a "thickening" along my cervical spine. No one would say exactly what it was. They took me off the Kyprolis and I was only taking Revlimid for the month that they did radiation therapy. During that month, my lambda light chain went from normal to 110.

After radiation, the Kyprolis was added back, but my light chain only went down to 80 and I de­vel­oped 4 lumps. Last blood work from Monday showed light chains back up to 100.

Went to Moffitt yesterday and they did a fine needle biopsy. They lumps have a strong in­dica­tion of myeloma and we will have the pathology back in a few days. I will also be doing a bone marrow biopsy and full body PET scan on Monday. I understand that this may mean myeloma is now more aggressive.

The doc is going to try to get me into the Keytruda (pembrolizumab), Pomalyst (pomalidomide), dexa­metha­sone trial. Does anyone have any experience with this treatment regimen?

Any info and experiences would be helpful so I understand what I am up against. I feel like I am back at square one and just when I was starting to feel good again.

Daralex Pomalyst and dex worked great for my wife for about a year. That combo is not a trial and is available now.

We are waiting to find out what her doctor is going to put her on next. She also has multiple tumors in back and some in femur. One tumor is entering her spinal canal. She has bad radicular pain in her leg due to her spinal canal tumor.

She was on Kyprolis before she switch to Daralex.
