Kappa & lambda free light chains below normal - why?

by Bill 54 on Fri Jan 10, 2014 7:15 pm

My kappa and lambda levels are both below normal for their reference ranges, and my FLC ratio is normal but low normal at a ratio of around .29-.4.

I have IgG lambda type smoldering multiple myeloma.

What could cause both kappa and lambda levels to be below the reference range (although my lambda is higher than the kappa).

Not doing treatment.
