Just found this site - big Hi to everyone

by dinkydi on Sat Oct 26, 2013 4:44 am

I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma just before Christmas in 2011. Started chemo Feb 2012 and had stem cell transplant in the August 2012.

At present I have 2 monthly blood tests which are sent to my hematologist in Perth, Western Australia.

It will be good to be in touch with people with multiple myeloma as apart from when I was in hospital I haven't met anyone else to discuss my highs and lows with.

Hi Di,
I am new to this site too...not yet a veteran in the disease...so I still have my first stem cell procedure to look forward to. So do they consider you to be in remission? Or are you still getting some degree of chemo?
