I have MGUS / somnolent myeloma for over 10 years along with idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. The latter is a continuous pain. But with quarterly hematologist / oncologist tests, I have survived. Keep getting the regular testing, using whatever ways you can. Your survival depends on this, retaining the possibility of catching and treating the other things that come up (seemingly randomly) with MGUS.
