Is this considered progressive MGUS?

by Ginny1 on Fri Jun 06, 2014 7:11 pm

Hi, I just received my lab results and I'm not sure if the readings mean progression or are they still benign.

No change in "faint lambda bands " in urine. Noted as a 2 this time but doesn't say gm or mg.
Beta-2 microglobin increased to 2.19 from 1.63
Serum M spikes same at 0.5, 0.3, and 0.1
Albumin decrease from 4.6 to 4.4
Calcium increased from 9.8 to 10.1
Lambda free lights increased from 34 to 36
Ratio increased from 0.11 to 0.14
Hemoglobin same at 15.5
Hct same 46

Also Immogluobulin keeps rising ... Was 1474 last year now 1610 .... What's that about ?

I have IgG lambda free light chains.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Ginny

Although the increases may look worrisome to you, the differences are really negligible. So no, this does not appear to be progressive disease. However, you will still need to be monitored regularly.
