I understand that this machine has been tested with success at University of Pittsburgh and MD Anderson.
The premise is using nanoparticles (smaller than RBC) that attach only to cancer cells and then using a radio frequency wave which is non toxic to normal cells but heats and destroys the cancer cells the nanoparticles attach to via antigens on cancer cells.

Have there been updates to this research?

Re: Is there any news on gold nanoparticles Kanzius machine
It is not something that I am personally familiar with. I have been a part of a study looking at the use of gold particles to introduce genetic material into melanoma cells. However, this was some time ago and was not (at that time) translateable to myeloma as a model of disease.
I cannot speak for the other advisors however.
