I have read about Dr. Berenson and seen his presentations pertaining to stem cell transplantation. Is there a myeloma doctor on the East Coast, particularly in the New York City / New Jersey / Philadelphia area, who espouses Berenson's philosophy?
I know about Dr. Chanan Khan from the Mayo Clinic in Florida, and Dr. Landgren from NIH / Sloan-Kettering. Anyone else?
Thanks.

I am also impressed and would love to have a doctor like Berenson treating my multiple myeloma. I live in Harrisburg, PA. But would certainly be willing to travel for a doc who has the same philosophy as Berenson.

Hi TerryL,
Sorry to hear about your relapse. Are you "doctor shopping"? I thought you were happy with Landgren? Also I would think Landgren has a long term treatment plan for his patients. IMO it is best to stick with one doctor since they know your case the best.
