Is my mother ready for a stem cell transplant?

My mother is around 60 years old and was started multiple myeloma treatment at around four and a half months ago, with bortezomib (Velcade) injection, dexamethasone, and thalidomide. Now today we received the following result:

Kappa and Lambda Freelite Serum:

Free Kappa (Light Chain), Serum - 15.5
Free Lambda (Light Chain), Serum – 5.74
Free Kappa/Lambda Ratio – 2.70

Beta-2 Microglobulin – 1458.00

IgG Total – 583.00
IgA Total – 32.00
IgM Total – 22.00

Immunofixation – Qualitative, Serum

IgG - Absent
IgM – Absent
IGA- Absent
Kappa – Absent
Lambda – Absent
M-Band – Absent
Impression – No Monoclonal Gammopathy Seen

Serum, Protein Electrophoresis

Total Protein – 6.39
Serum Albumin – 4.63
Alpha 1 Globulin – 0.24
Alpha 2 Globulin – 0.80
Beta 1 Globulin – 0.30
Beta 2 Globulin – 0.10
Gama Globulin – 0.32
Albumin, Globulin ratio – 2.64
“M” Band – Absent
Comment: Monoclonal band not seen, however hypogammaglobulnemia is noticed

Overall symptoms, not much seen except some frequent cold and cough.

In this condition, should my mother have the bone marrow transplant?
