Iodine, MGUS, and smoldering myeloma

by Jacqueline on Fri Oct 31, 2014 2:21 pm

Is injection of iodinated contrast agent for a scanner prohibited with smoldering myeloma or MGUS?

Is taking iodine (food supplement) the same problem?

And why (renal problem)?

Thanks
