In rememberance: Homer Gay Hargrove

by Homers Widow on Sun Aug 21, 2016 7:48 pm

A husband, father and friend, passed, January 9, 2006. Ten years later his widow, now 80 years old, has picked up that multiple myeloma baton to carry to a finish line, whatever / wherever that line may be.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been diagnosed with multiple myeloma after your late husband also had the disease. There have been many new treatments for multiple myeloma developed and approved since your husband's diagnosis. So you should not feel that your experience will be exactly the same as his.

If you need more advice or support, people here are very helpful and knowledgeable. Just let us know how we can help.

Good luck!

Jonah
