Immunocal during multiple myeloma treatment?

Has anyone taken the product Immunocal (for helping the immune system) while being on chemo or other cancer treatments?

It is a natural product, and the oncologist did not know much about it. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

We want to make sure it does not interfere with the effectiveness of the chemo drugs.

Based on the standard FDA label for the product, which you can view at the manufacturer's website, this seems to be just whey protein isolate, which you can read about at Wikipedia:

I can't think of any reason off the top of my head why it would do any harm or interfere with any treatment your father is receiving. But perhaps your father's doctor can give more feedback about it once you tell the doctor the main ingredient of the supplement.

My husband takes 2 packets of Immunocal every night. It has not interfered with any treatment for him. He is currently in the elotuzumab trial and on Revlimid and dex. Before that, he was on Doxil, Velcade, and dex. The Immunocal successfully keeps away muscle cramps for him.
My husband is doing really well in the trial, numbers are coming down.
