Hi Restlessrebel,
I don't have enough expertise to really answer all your questions, but I can give you some pointers which might be helpful.
First, you may find these previous discussions here in the forum useful:
https://myelomabeacon.org/forum/what-does-a-value-of-1-mean-for-m-protein-t714.htmlhttps://myelomabeacon.org/forum/spep-monoclonal-pattern-t1157.htmlThe key thing that will really determine whether you have MGUS is, I believe, the level of your monoclonal protein (mspike). Have the initial test results given any indication of that level yet?
Second, as you've probably already found out, the ANA titer value that you got is elevated, indicating that you may have some sort of autoimmune system disorder. I believe it's often the case that people with autoimmune disorders also develop MGUS.
Are you also having additional tests done to understand what the source of the elevated ANA titer might be?
I hope the test results you get next week clear things up. Most of all, I hope all of this has been some kind of weird false alarm!

Please let us know what you find out.
