IGG

What does it mean or indicate when your IGG levels go from 1783 to 1852 after 5 cycles of treatment (RVD)

So I am assuming that your IgG was 1783 mg/dL before receiving Revlimid/Velcade/Dexamethasone (RVD) for 5 cycles and now is 1852 mg/dL. This IgG is the total IgG in your serum, of which the majority of your IgG is likely monoclonal protein, i.e. most of it is protein produced by your myeloma cells.

Current response criteria (the international myeloma group uniform response criteria) would likely declare this as stable disease with less than 25% change in your monoclonal protein.

Now the big question is whether this is adequate. If you are newly diagnosed, this may be seen as unacceptable as our goal is to attain and maintain remission. If you have relapsed myeloma after 5 or more lines of prior treatment, stable disease is not so bad.
