IGG dropping

by Stann on Fri Nov 04, 2011 11:42 am

I went through tandem SCT's this summer. My IGG's started out in the 4000's and that became one of main targets of the chemotherapy.
It has been about 8 weeks since my second SCT and my IGG has dropped all the way to 650. It appears as if it will drop into the "Too low" zone soon.
Is this normal?
(Mspike went from 2.0 to 0.45, so far).

I suspect the falling IgG will level off soon. Although low IgG can increase the risk for infections many patients have low IgG levels without ever experiencing symptoms. I would not worry alot about it.
