Hi all,
I was trying to get some information on this type of multiple myeloma (IgA lamda), but I am not able to find much information about it. I am wondering if anyone out there has some information or links that details how this multiple myeloma type behaves differently than others multiple myeloma and whether treatment can/should differ as a result.
Thanks

Re: IgA lamda multiple myeloma - is it different?
My understanding from my readings in the past year is that one doesn't treat IgA/Lambda (second most common type of myeloma after IgG/Lambda) any differently than the IgG type. It's really one's cytogenetics and perhaps GEP (depending on the institution) that has an impact on treatment selection.
