Hi Tracey.
My deepest condolences on the passing of your mum. My heart goes out to you, and your family. I understand fully what you must be going through. I lost my dad to multiple myeloma too, roughly 5 weeks ago, and its the toughest thing ever. He was only 64 years old, and would have turned 65 end of this month; 29th June.
As much as we would like to think that we had enough time with our loved ones, and knowing that they would leave us soon, its never easy to say 'goodbye,' especially forever. We try to hold on to them for as long as we can, but a time comes when we can't bear the pain and suffering that they go through and have to let them go. They are at peace now, free of any pain and suffering. Our very own angels, watching over us.
Your mum was such a brave lady, and I am sure you are as much a brave lady as she was. Reading through your query and updates, I could envision how hard it was for you but you still managed to be strong for her. Take heart, and always cherish the beautiful memories of the time you had together.
