I have posted that my husband has been placed in the smoldering stage on November 24th of this year.
I have just read some information from a post here about an increase in someone's M-spike. My husband's M-spike was 1.53 g/dL (15.3 g/L). I am not sure what type of method our oncologist uses, but does this seem high to the more experienced here?
Thanks

Re: Is my husband's M-spike high?
Hi Mildred,
This weekly poll here in the forum may give you a better sense of whether your husband's M-spike is high or low for someone diagnosed with smoldering myeloma.

As you'll see, your husband's M-spike is in the upper half of the levels reported by people who took the poll. So it seems fair to say that it's slightly high, but not excessively so for someone with smoldering myeloma

Re: Is my husband's M-spike high?
Thank you, Terry. I have extreme faith in our oncologist, but sometimes that nagging thought travels endlessly through my mind!
My husband does not have any of the CRAB criteria. I pray that he continues to smolder for a long time. May you also be blessed!
