High light chain kappa & lambda levels, normal K/L ratio
At 160 days out from stem cell transplant, my husband's light chains are BOTH high, with a K/L ratio that is normal. His kidney function is good. I can't find anything about the significance of this.

Re: High light chain kappa & lambda levels, normal K/L ratio
Hi blair77,
My mother has the same value. The physician says it could be correlated to the reconstitution of the bone marrow function, but I'm already worried about this.
My mother is +90 post auto stem cell transplant. In her case, the value is present in the serum analysis but not in the urine.
Good luck to you and your husband.
