High blood pressure, fatigue after 2 months of treatment

My mom was doing ok until 3 weeks ago. She has started treatment in July and, in the last several weeks, she has become extremely tired and she could not get her dex today because her blood pressure was too high.

Has anyone experienced this?

Her doctor is saying she should have her stem cell transplant (SCT) soon, but she is almost 72 and I am afraid it is going to be too hard on her. She has lost her sense of taste and is also eating less.

Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions.
