Hello to all!

Hi my name is Dan and I was diagnosed in the fall of 2015. A shocker to say the least, My path has had many ups and a couple downs as well.

First and foremost, I want to say that I find great comfort and reassurance knowing that I'm not alone in this fight and journey. Everyone's participation in the various forum threads is simply astounding! I've never posted anything, but I am a shy user who often finds the answers to his questions simply by perusing the various topics.

I'm in maintenance mode at the moment and everything is going quite well, I praise my specialists and fantastic nursing staff for that! I also have three wonderful adult children and a beautiful wife to thank for supporting me on this journey. It simply warms my heart to see how many spouses and children also participate in the discussions.

Anyhow just wanted to let everyone know, I hope this isn't too corny for a first post, but hey, every­one's got to start somewhere and I wanted to focus on positives

I can't tell you how helpful this forum has been. I am only two weeks into my journey and I have learned so much from this site. So many worries put at ease.
