Hi my name is Paul and I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in February 2012.
I am currently getting Valkade and Cytoxen for weekly treatment along with Zometa once a month.
I am married with two grown up kids.
I am on leave from work right now and I dont know if and when I will be able to go back.
I am wondering if social security disabillity is possable for people with multiple myeloma.
Any help, advice and or prayers would be great.
Paul

Social Security disability is available for multiple myeloma patients. You can apply online without too much hassle. I suggest you contact the nearest SS office.
My prayers for you have been offered.

Hi Paul,
This is my first post. I am smoldering since 2007. I would guess there is a social worker within the treatment facility who can help you start the process of getting your social security disability. One of my coworkers has just completed her second stem cell transplant and they got the process started for her prior to her first transplant. We are both treated at Robert Lurie Cancer Center at Northwestern in Chicago. Talk to your Dr.s staff for guidance.
God bless all
