Has my MGUS progressed to multiple myeloma?

Hi,

I have had MGUS since 2008, and just recently had some blood tests done.

My globulins, both Alpha and Beta, have increased since 2008, and my kappa-lambda ratio is abnormal. Mind you, I have an ill defined band.

What does all this mean? Do I now have multiple myeloma?

Welcome to the forum.

There are very specific criteria that must be met to make a diagnosis of MGUS, smoldering multiple myeloma or multiple myeloma. You can't say what your current diagnosis is based on the very limited information you provided.
