good news

by packrat on Tue Dec 20, 2011 10:01 pm

Was diagnosed a year ago in Nov. Had a year of chemo with Velcade thalidamide and Dex. Went into remission in around 6 mo. ,it was a tough 6 months but I made it. I am back at work now with revlamide 25 now. I am now able to work out and work my shop. I am getting ready to do maple syrup this year and build up my bee yard. Thanks to God for my remission. And thanks to my wife who took care of this old kermudgeon. Just thought you might like to hear some good news. Harold

Very good to hear. We all wish you the best and a Wonderful Holidays. I remember making maple syrup with my aunt and uncle in New Hampshire when i was a kid- wonderful winter memories. Not a lot of snow, maple syrup, or winter in Florida. Please enjoy your holidays.

My imnunoglobulin was at 8800. And of course some of the other numbers were low. I had one blood transfusion. I didnt think I would ever feel like I do now. Harold
