Geraldine Ferraro

I'm sure by now everyone has read that Geraldine Ferraro died "from complications of multiple myeloma". I just watched a video from I believe 2007 where she talks about having treatments and "living with myeloma". Pehaps in her passing this will bring new light to the fact that although research and treatments have progressed since her diagnosis in 1999 - there is still much to do. My heart goes out to her family and my thanks go to her for championing the continued research and development of treatments for multiple myeloma.
