GEP proliferation Group

by Anonymous on Fri Feb 15, 2013 1:00 pm

My name is Sarah. I went to Arkansas to make the GEP analysis in order to see which is the risk status of my disease? I did in the past 2 chemos, i went into sCR and then i decided to stay out of treatment. So passed almost 7 months and i went to Little Rock for GEP. The news were not so good, i learned the GEP placed me in the proliferation subgroup which is an indicator of inferior survival.

Can somebody tell me which is te best way to deal with this type of myeloma? Should i start some novel drug combination as Kyprolis + Velcade + dex or maybe to continue with tandem transplants?

Keep on going
Sarah

I think the best way to continue your treatment would be an Allo transplant.
