George L. Jurak - pain free!

by Anonymous on Sat Nov 14, 2015 1:52 pm

George L Jurak, a forum member, passed on last month. He was diagnosed in January 2011 with multiple myeloma. Grade 4 peripheral neuropathy plagued him, permanently, after his Velcade treatments. He had a stem cell transplant early on. In January of 2015 he got shingles and in August 2015 he was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). After starting the new meds he was hospitalized for 10 days. Thereafter he refused all cancer meds. and had palliative care. He was 64 when he died.

Rest in Peace, George!
