Fresh ginger root tea with RVD treatment?

Wondering if drinking tea made from simmered fresh ginger is contra-indicated while on RVD (Revlimid, Velcade, and dexamethasone) meds? My whole life I have used this to counteract stomach ailments of all kinds, especially nausea.

Starting my RVD treatment in 2 weeks.

I was on CyBorD (cyclophosphamide, Velcade, dexamethasone) and used a combination of fresh ginger cooled tea and chewed crystal ginger. Found the crystal ginger particularly good.

But when I was having my stem cell transplant, my taste changed and I couldn't touch the ginger. A year later and I still can't face trying it again - and I used to love it as a sea sick remedy!

Thanks RP and ByYourSide. Crystalized ginger sounds like a good possibility too.
