Shortage of supplies for free light chain testing?

I recently had a blood draw and called my lab today to get my free light chain (FLC) results. I was told that there is a worldwide shortage of whatever labs use to analyze blood and provide FLC results. I was told that my blood would be frozen and analyzed whenever the shortage was reduced.

Anyone else in a similar situation?
