Foot pain after stem cell harvest

I had my stem cells harvested two days ago. I was taking injections of Neupogen and Mozobil. I'm currently experiencing tingling in both feet and they are very sensitive when walking. I'm just two days out and hoping this goes away SOON.

Is this a common side effect?

I'm a very healthy (besides this thing called multiple myeloma) 55-year-old long distance cyclist and hiker. I have also just completed 4 cycles of Revlimid, Velcade, and dexamethasone (RVD).

Dear MSO,

It sounds like you might be experiencing delayed neuropathy from your initial bortezomib
(Velcade)-based induction therapy. If this is brand new, it should get better with a high likelihood of complete resolution. However, it is going to take longer than you would like (i.e. months, that is if it is neuropathy).

If you are having significant pain, you should speak to your oncologist about ways to reduce symptoms.
