Dearest Laurie,
My mum has seen her consultant and they just said it could be her medication as she is on so much and such a strong dose of medication for pain relief. They have told us they do not know how long my mum has as every patient is different and also with mum's kidneys running at 15% it’s not good either. So all we can do is try and let her live normal but be there to help her along with any needs, and she is receiving palliative care and soon to see the hospice staff.
To look at my mum, she looks normal, but she has got a lot slower and her memory is wild, but she is not stupid; she is as wise as an owl.
My thoughts are with you and your family and hope your husband is comfortable. xxx
