Hi everybody,
I was diagnosed with MGUS back in October. I have had anemia several years ago. They keep an eye on my iron since then, but I have fatigue quite a bit.
I have what I call my good/bad days. On my good days, I feel normal and can do things like normal. On my bad days, I just want to lay on the couch and sleep. I have been having more bad days than good recently.
I was just wondering if the MGUS could have something to do with that. Thanks.

Re: Fatigue with MGUS
Hi Chris,
I won't know for sure until after a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow if I have MGUS or smoldering multiple myeloma, but the fatigue can be overwhelming at times. Like you I have a few good days in between as well, but I don't have anemia.

Re: Fatigue with MGUS
Hi Chris,
MGUS normally does not have any symptoms. Some people do experience a rash or nerve problems, such as numbness or tingling. My wife has fatigue, but does not have anemia. She has an iron deficiency and other autoimmune problems.
