Hello
First I'd like to thank everyone on this forum for all the knowledge I have gotten over the past couple weeks.
I am from India and my 83 year old father was just recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
He had low haemoglobin and high creatinine along with lower back pain, all of which led us to a bone marrow aspiration and MRI of his spine. He appears to have many many lesions on his spine.
The haematologist could not confirm whether he is high risk or standard risk after the FISH test
I am so very sad to have my dad go through multiple myeloma at this late stage in his life.
Best,
Sonia

We're sorry to hear of your father's diagnosis, Sonia, but we're glad you found this forum.
