Re: Errors and pharmacies

Sadly the errors were made at my oncology office. I thought of getting my first round of shots at my transplant center 3 hours away, but the doctor there was very condescending and labeled me as a highly anxious person. That's a whole other issue. Anyway, my transplant center sent over the orders for my shots to my oncology office, but I guess the pharmacist thought "he" knew better. Think I will be calling the hospital to see exactly what happened.

Thanks for your comments.

I received my vaccinations from my general internist. My oncologist had a schedule which he shared with my internist. It also had information about the vaccines, so my internist knew what to give me when.
