Re: Error Message will not allow posting
Hi suzierose,
Sorry to hear about the error you're encountering. We are looking into the problem and will let you know what we find.
A couple of quick follow-up questions.
First, when did this problem start occurring ... Just this morning, or has it been occurring for a few days now?
Second, obviously you were able to post successfully here in this forum. Does the problem occur only in certain parts of the forum, or with certain content that you're trying to post?
Thanks again for the feedback. It is VERY helpful to know when problems are occurring. We can't fix the problems if we don't know they're occurring.
- Boris.

Re: Error Message will not allow posting
SuzieRose,
Is this problem happening with specific text that you're trying to post -- say, something that you've cut and paste from somewhere else?
If so, could you send it to me in an email?
I suspect the problem is with one or two characters in the text you're trying to post. They may not be compatible with the character encoding our forum software uses.
Thanks again for letting us know of this problem.

Re: Error Message will not allow posting
Thanks so much for replying, Boris..I got busy reading and forgot to get back to this post. Sorry.
Yes, it occurred just this morning and I was trying to copy and paste.
You are probably right that it is just something in this post...since I have successfully posted elsewhere this morning
I was in that forum on t(4:14) and !4q32...I think it is overkill now..but this was the original post.
HA!! it won't even let me send an e mail!! lol...this post is just whacked somewhere...the General Error msg came up again when I hit submit...I will just take it as an omen..this is not to be cut and pasted verbatim.
lol lol lol

Re: Error Message will not allow posting
Thanks for the additional feedback, suzierose.
The problem almost certainly was a character that just doesn't work with the forum software.
For example, in the original text for the article you mentioned in this forum posting earlier today,
https://myelomabeacon.org/forum/14q32-t737.html
there's a Greek letter beta (and perhaps other Greek letters), and those may have created issues. (Kudos to my colleague Scott for picking up on that.)
Please don't hesitate to let us know again if any problems pop up. As I said, for many kinds of problems, it's difficult for us to know if they're occurring unless someone tells us.
Take care,
Boris.
