I was hoping that someone could shed some light on the recent appearance of two M-spikes on test results.
I have been on myeloma's yellow brick road for five years and have made friends and enemies with Revlimid, Velcade, SCT meds, Pomalyst and radiation. I am currently involved with a Humax-38 [daratumumab] trial and madly in love with this current myeloma friend. I feel great, m-spike has dropped from 1.42 to.60.
However, as I mentioned, another M spike is showing up as well (0.12). I can't seem to find any information on this and would be curious if others have encountered this.

Re: Double gammopathy (two m-spikes)
My tests have always showed another smaller M-spike. I have never questioned what is about and don't know why there is a second one or what it is about. I just figured it was a normal thing. Anyone?

Re: Double gammopathy (two m-spikes)
I think that it's possibly another clonal population of cells.
At least in the context of transplant, here's a discussion of it

I don't know what it means in this context, though.
