Hi kjpoppit, I think that a similar situation to yours in Canada would be that patients from the north may have to fly in to Edmonton or Vancouver for consultations with specialists, since there are not facilities for cancer treatments in their communities. For example, I know that patients from the Yukon will fly to Vancouver for appointments.
I guess that depending on how the appointment turns out, you could be started on treatment. Could that be done without you flying back and forth again?
