Multibilly, I found the information on artemisinin in a Bottom Line Health book on alternative cancer cures. It said it was effective in fighting cancer cells and did not disturb other cells in the body.

Well, on my recent visit to my oncologist I found out that I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma rather than smoldering because of two things. Even though there were no "CRAB" symptoms, my M-spike was 2.49 and my bone marrow count was 20 per cent.

I am still on alternative stuff, which the doc said was fine, but would rather I would be on Revlimid and a steroid. He did not push me though and said he would treat me no matter what my choice was.

Also, the blood work 3 months ago said the M-spike was 3.02. This time my blood work showed an M spike of 2.99, so it is playing around that area.

No lesions were found in my bone x rays and the rest of the blood work was pretty well within normal limits. So I guess it is still a wait & see game. I was relieved my M spike had not gone up at least.
