Hi Little Monkey,

I believe it was a neurosurgeon that gave me my spinal block. It was done via an ultrasound machine so that he could see in real time exactly where the needle was at all times.

As a side note, I feel that it hasn't lasted as long as before (I was told this could happen). Also, I have just had radiation on my left hip, left ribs and right ribs. That pain is now slowly diminishing!

So my pain level will need reevaluating next week.

Hi Gary

Was the radiation to control pain or to treat a spot found on a PET scan?
