diagrams of multiple myeloma cell development

by Dianemarie on Wed Apr 03, 2013 11:59 pm

My close friend and business partner in Canada was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in March 2013. I’ve been trying to learn as much as I can about it and the treatment. He was born in Africa and has East Indian heritage, too.

Being very visually oriented, I have been looking for good diagrams to understand how the cells develop, and how they may be treated.

So far, these are about the best I’ve found -- this diagram:

and this video:

I would appreciate seeing others, as well, that may help to describe multiple myeloma development and what agents target the stem cells on down to the plasma and myeloma cells to inhibit the cancer.
