Diagnosed 3 weeks ago with smoldering myeloma

Hi,

I am brand new to this. I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with smoldering myeloma. I have heard so many things and am glad I found this site. My doctor said I am not quite ready to be in a study she is conducting and will see me in three months.

Any words would be welcome. Thanks,

Oh, I also should have said I am a white female, age 57. My smoldering myeloma was found because of osteoporosis.
