Diagnosed September 2013
Diagnosis confirmed September 10th, 2013....... I suspected this, but it did take the wind out of my sails... Will be starting a Revlimid therapy within the next week..... What I found interesting was that all other tests were fine, and I have no symptoms. (All x-rays are clear, kidneys are OK, lungs clear and heart is great) So I was still somewhat shocked.... Not sure what the future holds, but after 4 wars, this is another battle.... More to follow.

Re: Diagnosed September 2013
Hi there
So sorry that you have joined the ranks of multiple myeloma sufferers - you must be in complete shock. What you will find as you go through this journey is that no two people feel the same, have the same problems or symptoms nor react the same to medication. You are lucky that at present you don't have any other bone or organ issues, so be happy about that and l wish you luck with your treatment.
All the best
Krysia

Re: Diagnosed September 2013
Hello,
First thank you for your service. I understand the feeling of winds being knocked out of the sail (even as a caregiver, the news made everything turn upside down immediately and that feeling is hard to imagine until you experience it) and I'm wishing you some smooth waters ahead.
As a caregiver to my Hubby who is fighting the fight each day too, I wish you the best. It's great that you are starting out with good physical energy and mental energy -- those are some of the best tools to have in your arsenal as you face this challenge.
Warm healing wishes.
