Lately my daughter has taken a lot of dex with high-dose chemo and is now doing radiation.
She has experienced weakness in her legs, which makes steps difficult. Anyone else experience this?
They are slowly reducing the dex amount since she just finished 10 radiation treatments for a couple plasmacytomas near her eyes. The doc said dex can make muscles in thighs weak.
Hoping it improves.

Re: Dex and muscle weakness
I just responded to another post that my husband is having pain in his upper legs that came on this week (3 cycles into Revlimid, Velcade, and dex). They said it may be myopathy from the dex and are changing his cycle from 3 weeks to 4, lowering his weekly dosages of all the drugs. His myeloma specialist said that should resolve the leg pain/weakness.
Good luck!
Good luck!
