The combination of drugs that you are describing is exactly what I have taken. I haven't had serious side effects, but these are likely to vary by person. Gastrointestinal effects are probably the most pronounced. Living alone shouldn't be a serious problem until the symptoms of the disease begin - bone pain, anemia.
