Hello everyone,
I can't thank you all enough for answering my questions and the load of knowledge I gained while my father was having his battle.
Dad passed away 3 weeks ago.
It was peaceful at the end, but his long suffering was a road I pray from my heart that no one has to pass through.
His condition deteriorated in a couple of months after a successful bone marrow transplant and he developed a psoas muscle lesion, which showed with biopsy and culture both psoas muscle infiltration by plasma cells and a psoas abcess.
His myeloma specialist and oncologist thought it kind of rarity they haven't faced before, to have both lesions at the same time.
I appreciate your efforts and can't thank you enough.
Regards,
Salma

Re: Daddy, my mentor and friend
I am so sorry for your loss. My father passed on several years ago (not myeloma), and while I still miss him, the memories and love ease the pain of loss. Many condolences to you and your family.
