D-PACE chemotherapy question about reconstitution

by Niki on Thu May 15, 2014 3:51 am

Dear friends,

Me and my husband are both myeloma patients. When i had my chemotherapy of D-PACE, i was given 24 infusions and each chemotherapeutic drug was in 50 ml dilluted. When my husband had his chemotherapy in another hospital it was reconstituted in 400 ml each drug. Why this difference between hospitals? How much is reconstituted doesn't play a role in effectivity of the drug? When i asked my doctors he told me that in many patients, they administered the drugs in just 3 hours without problems!!! Thank you

Niki
